Bob and Tess Dancing Videos
Bob came up to me recently with one of his "great
ideas". He loves YouTube and he saw this video of a guy traveling
all around the world dancing a silly little dance and he said "we
travel
a lot and we like to dance" and thus his (great?) idea
was born. He wanted me to pose in various locations (around the world),
film us doing our own silly dance and then post it on our website.
Best yet, we could include a bunch of videos of us dancing naked!
Well, for those that know us well, you probably already know what I thought of this idea. While Bob doesn't mind being on public display, I prefer a more discreet private life. After that approach didn't work, he pitched a different idea: "What if I (Bob) dance and you just wave to everyone". Well, that didn't sound near as bad, so I told him I would go along (for now) but I would have final approval on anything before we put it up on our site. Bob broke out in spontaneous dance. He's so silly. So, we headed off on our Mediterranean cruise and Bob danced his way through Europe. I gotta tell you, the funniest part of seeing Bob dance in places like the Pantheon (Athens, Greece) and the Coliseum (Rome, Italy) was the looks on the people watching him. The locals didn't know what to think about us, that's for sure.
We sent our raw footage to our friends Steve (the filmmaker) to be edited (for my approval). You may have seen some of Steve's wacky videos on www.CoupleDoingIt.com or on www.LifestyleLounge.com (his screen name is SeedyEye). If this was going to work, Steve would be the guy to put this together. Bob had some ideas on what would make a great video and the combination of Steve's input helped bring this project full circle- from a crazy idea about a "Where in the hell is Matt" parody to our very own "Where in the Hell is Bob Tess" video. He even threw in a great commercial parody that we simply had to include. I hope you like it (the funny commercial AND our new dance video) and I hope you will dance with us (well, Bob anyway) at Hedo, Desire, Couples Fest or N'awlins. Please check back from time to time because we'll keep adding more "Dancing" footage as life goes on... A response from Bob O.K., so Tess wasn't exactly on board when I came up with this GREAT idea. I'm just happy to have such a responsible person in my life to help keep me grounded and one that supports me (and my crazy ideas) over the last 25 years. She was a real trooper and yes, she actually did dance. Once. It ended up on the cutting room floor (she did have final editing approval) but I am hopeful that one of our upcoming versions will show my baby dancing too. So encourage her to dance and we hope to see you on one of our upcoming videos! Bob
